Hunting Africa is a South African based hunting outfitter with Willie Vermaak who owns, runs and oversees each hunting safari a professional hunter. Hunting Africa’s main base of operations is situated in the Free State town of Welkom. Hunting Africa is also a fully licensed and fully registered hunting outfitter.

We provide a wide variety of hunting safaris and adventures from big game hunts, plains game  and bird hunting as well as photographic safaris. All of our safaris are run under Willie’s expert guidance as well as to a very high standard.

Willie acquired his status as a professional hunter in 1992 from the prestigious Johan Calitz Professional Hunting School.

Today, Hunting Africa boasts with 24 years of experience in the South African hunting industry and is still a top notch own-run hunting outfitter. Our hunting safaris and adventures are designed to give hunters a hunting experience like no other through our wide array of various packages on offer. We also create tailor-made hunting safari packages that can cater to the requirements of our clients.

Each hunting safari is planned, organized, conducted and guided by Willie himself. We conduct our hunting safaris all across Southern Africa including South Africa itself, Namibia, Botswana and more. Our hunting safaris also offer hunters a chance to experience the Big Five, a plethora of plains game, various bird hunting excursions, as well as some of the most beautiful locales with out varied photographic safari packages.

We also offer all of the following per default in ALL of our hunting packages:

• A meet-up services at your point of arrival.
• We take care of all transport arrangements personally.
• We check you into your accommodation.
• We guide and accompany all of our hunters during their hunting trip and/or tour.
• We arrange your meals during your entire stay and, in some cases, we prepare them ourselves.

We take every aspect into careful account to ensure that our hunting safaris are an experience. We therefore take your own personal requirements into account when we plan your hunting safari.

And, once your trip is complete, we make sure that you reach your point of departure safe and sound when you’re travelling back home.

During your hunting trip, we make sure that the accommodation you’ll stay at is of the best quality.

• Sandstone cottages that are nestled within picturesque mountain ranges.
